Snowsports rule in winter!

Downhill and cross country skiing, snow shoeing, sledding, sled dogs, skijoering, snowmobiles, fat bikes… The village of Les Carroz d’Arâches is one of five Haute Savoie resorts making up the Grand Massif: one of the biggest ski areas in Europe with exceptional snowfall.

From shallow terrain to awe-inspiring summits reaching 2,500m, you can ski all the way between the resorts of Flaine, Les Carroz, Morillon, Samoëns and Sixt-Fer-à-Cheval. With 265km of runs and the third largest interconnecting ski area in the French Alps, the Grand Massif boasts magnificent panoramic views of the Mont Blanc range.

200km of waymarked paths to delight keen hikers at medium and high altitude. And it’s a dream location for paragliding and mountain biking.
